Speaking in a meeting with Syrian Interior Minister Mohammad al-Rahmoun in Damascus on Wednesday, Rashidian expressed content over the security in Syria and said that Iran has had talks with Syrian Tourism Ministry on the security of Iranian pilgrims from entry until exit.
He also said that Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in collaboration with Iran’s Health Ministry has developed health protocols for religious travels to protect them against the coronavirus spread.
Elsewhere, Syrian Interior Minister said that religious places in Syria were completely secure and Syria would welcome Iranian pilgrims.
Al-Rahmoun said that Syria’s Health Ministry has recently allowed entry of visitors and that pilgrims from different countries, including Bahrain and Pakistan, were currently visiting Syria.
